The individual who acquired that artifact paid for the privilege of being its sole owner globally. Yes. The exclusivity applies to the image itself. If a specific design is claimed as a 30cm x 40cm canvas, I will not sell that same design later in a larger or smaller format. Once claimed, the artwork is removed from sale entirely.
