This collaboration was born from a shared obsession between myself and Patti Veronica: the aesthetic power, dramatic geometry, and sensual authority of high heels. For Patti, heels are far more than mere footwear—they are a medium of movement, sound, and sensory expression. In my latest work, I have sought to freeze the electrifying tension of her Swedish studio performances into a permanent, tactile tribute. By translating her dynamic video showcases into heavy digital impasto, this piece transforms a fleeting visual gesture into a visceral monument of glossy lacquered leather and towering platforms.

Using my signature digital impasto brushwork, I sculpted this painting stroke by stroke, building deep dimensional shadows around the extreme platforms and applying vibrant crimson impasto highlights to mimic light shattering across polished surfaces. Set against deep, velvety obsidian shadows, the intricate web of cage strapping and razor-thin stilettos explores the delicate balance between restraint and absolute power. It is a celebratory worship of form and texture, where every stroke carries the weight of real oil paint, meticulously capturing the light reflecting off the uncompromising high-fashion silhouette.
