I created 'Bound Soles' as a raw exploration into the visceral world of stiletto high heels and the intricate dance of power and dominance. My vision for this piece was to capture the undeniable magnetism of a woman's leg encased in glossy patent leather, specifically focusing on the exquisite curve of the arch of the foot. The braided leather whip coiling around the heel is not merely an accessory but a symbol of controlled intensity, a hint at the deeper narratives within the BDSM aesthetic. I used bold, thick impasto brushstrokes, giving the background a turbulent, almost primal energy that contrasts with the sleek, polished form of the shoe. The deliberate textural quality of the oil on canvas underscores the raw emotion and sensual allure I aim to convey in my fetish art.
