I built this piece stroke by heavy stroke, feeling the viscous weight of the paint as it sculpted the incredible tension of an arched foot. In Cinnabar Cadence, I wanted to explore the intersection of raw, physical texture and the refined elegance of a multi-strapped stiletto. The canvas is thick with impasto ridges, catching the light on every peak of crimson and pink, mirroring the way a heart beats faster in the presence of such commanding style. Every sweep of the palette knife was a tribute to the power held within the slender line of the stiletto. I have integrated flecks of gold to punctuate the luxurious authority of the wearer, a reminder that these are not merely shoes, but monuments to desire. The sharp curve of the arch is the focal point—a bridge between the earthly and the divine, encased in glistening textures that demand to be touched as much as they demand to be worshipped. This is a 1-of-1 soul, a singular moment of obsessive craftsmanship that will never be replicated. Once it leaves my studio, the mold is broken, and the vision belongs solely to the one who recognizes its dominant allure.
