I created 'Crimson Sole Ascendant' to channel the raw power and allure I find in the stiletto high heel. My vision was to elevate the shoe beyond mere footwear, transforming it into a sculptural object of desire and dominance. I chose a vibrant red sole – an unmistakable symbol of luxury and fetish – to contrast sharply with the sleek black stiletto of the heel itself. The thick impasto technique I employed brings a tactile dimension, making the viewer almost feel the texture of the material and the profound curve of the arch of the foot. Every bold stroke and rich pigment is intended to amplify the inherent sensuality of the form, emphasizing the exquisite tension of a foot poised en pointe. This piece is a celebration of the feminine power embodied by such an iconic shoe, an exploration of its erotic symbolism, and the undeniable statement it makes.

As with all pieces in the vault, this is a strict 1-of-1 edition. Once a collector claims these soles, they are retired forever.
