I created 'Heels Over Head: Crimson Soles Ascendant' as an audacious exploration of the stiletto high heel fetish. My vision was to capture the sheer sensuality and dominance inherent in these iconic shoes, presenting them in an unexpected, almost dreamlike state. The upside-down legs, adorned with elegant cream-colored stilettos and their signature lustrous crimson soles, invite the viewer into a world of pure indulgence. I used thick impasto oil paint to give a tangible, almost sculpted quality to the forms, emphasizing their visual impact. The interplay of light and shadow highlights the exquisite arch of the foot and the delicate curves, transforming a simple shoe into an object of intense desire. This piece is a celebration of luxury footwear, a bold statement drawing the eye to the very essence of stiletto worship.

As with all pieces in the vault, this is a strict 1-of-1 edition. Once a collector claims these soles, they are retired forever.
