The thick impasto technique allows the glossy patent leather to truly reflect the blurry city lights, giving the piece a vivid, almost liquid texture. I wanted to emphasize the erotic power inherent in the extreme arch and the delicate yet dangerous pin-thin heel. The deep blues and purples of the night sky contrast sharply with the fiery scarlet sole, drawing the viewer into a moment of solitary elegance and raw sensuality.
