In my latest exploration, I wanted to capture more than just a shoe; I wanted to manifest the staggering architectural tension that defines a woman’s silhouette in high heels. I have sculpted this piece using heavy, digital impasto strokes, allowing the paint to build up in thick, physical ridges that mirror the raw intensity of the stiletto itself. You can almost feel the weight of the obsidian pigment as it carves the curve of the arch out of the canvas. The focus here is the undeniable power of the heel—that sharp, vertical line that commands the eye and dictates the posture. I’ve layered the background in a chaotic, yet controlled slurry of cream and charcoal, ensuring that the black leather texture of the heel pops with a dominant, three-dimensional presence. Every stroke is a deliberate act of worship toward the iconic footwear that defines my collection. As with all my work for The Grand Gallery, this piece is a strictly 1-of-1 edition. Once this digital canvas is claimed, the physical manifestation of these strokes belongs solely to the collector.
