I created 'Unveiled Sole' to explore the intimate relationship between the feminine form and the stiletto high heel. My vision for this piece was to capture the sheer elegance and understated power and dominance inherent in the shoe, juxtaposed with the vulnerable arch of the foot. The nude patent leather of the pump, meticulously rendered with thick impasto brushstrokes, reflects the light, highlighting its sleek curves and the provocative red sole. This painting delves into the unspoken allure of fetish art, emphasizing the sensual elegance as the foot slides into the exquisite design. It's an homage to the exquisite discomfort and undeniable glamour of these iconic shoes, a moment of profound, quiet seduction captured in rich oil painting texture.
