I created 'White Hot Soles' to explore the undeniable magnetism of stiletto high heels, specifically focusing on the crisp, pristine allure of white pumps contrasted with their infamous scarlet red soles. My vision was to capture not just the shoe itself, but the feeling it evokes – power, elegance, and raw sensuality. I've employed a thick impasto technique with oil paints, allowing the brushstrokes to build a tactile, almost sculptural quality, emphasizing the curves and contours. The arched foot and slender legs are rendered with a dynamic energy, suggesting movement and a confident stride. The glossy patent leather effect on the soles and heels provides a striking visual pop against the textured white. This piece is a celebration of the feminine form and the fetishistic fascination with killer heels, inviting the viewer into a world where fashion and desire intertwine. The dramatic flair of the red bottoms is a constant, provocative tease, a signature of ultimate sophistication and allure.

As with all pieces in the vault, this is a strict 1-of-1 edition. Once a collector claims these soles, they are retired forever.
